As we told you earlier, Yamaha has launched its legendry superbike V-Max with brutal acceleration in India.
Yamaha’s cruiser division reinvented V-Max comes with the latest technology; keeping with iconic design of the original model. It comes with huge 1679cc V4 motor packed in a newly designed cast aluminum frame. Transmitting power to the rear is a 5 speed gearbox with the inclusion of a slipper clutch smoothing out the downshifts. The power train is still shaft driven to handle the massive torque.
The V-Max is priced at Rs.20 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
Yamaha has also unveiled special edition models of the FZ-16, FZ-S and the Fazer to celebrate the on-coming festive season. Available in special paint scheme with white alloys and a dash of blue, only 3000 models of these special editions bikes will be produced.
The Special edition FZ-16 is priced at Rs. 66,500, while the FZ-S and the Fazer special edition models are priced Rs. 68,500 and Rs. 73,500, respectively. (Ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Suzuki to gear up an economic ride
As we reported earlier, Suzuki has planned to launch a new bike in entry level segment. It is expected that this bike will be launched in the Indian two-wheeler market soon. We are digging out for more details on the same.

Suzuki gears up for an economic ride and GSX-R 1000cc
Suzuki motorcycle India, a subsidiary of Japanese auto major Suzuki Motor, is all set to assault in entry level bike segment.
“Early in the next fiscal, we will launch an entry level motor cycle. We are keen to enter this segment which is high volumes market,” said Atul Gupta. Vice-president, sales and marketing, Suzuki motorcycle India. It is expected news that, this new entry level bike will come with either 100cc or 110cc and would be priced between Rs. 40,000 to Rs, 50,000.
Suzuki also said that, from the next fiscal it will import the Completely Built Units (CBUs) of its 1000cc bike which is GSX-R model (it is also known as Gixxer). It’s two other models costing around Rs. 12.5Lakhs each, Hayabusa and Intruder – have together sold about 100 units since their launch 8 months back.
